HOMEWOOD, IL (May 2008) — Graycor Construction Company Inc. (Graycor Construction), a subsidiary of the Graycor family of companies, proudly announces that the Association of Subcontractors and Affiliates (ASA) Chicago has named Mike Kulik Outstanding Estimator of 2007-08.

Kulik was chosen from ASA Chicago’s pool of over 400 subcontractors, material suppliers and associate members in the six-county Chicago metropolitan area. The group represents all the trades, both union and open shop. ASA Chicago provides information and education on business issues affecting its affiliated members.

Kulik was honored at ASA Chicago’s annual awards dinner on May 8, 2008, along with eight other winners in the categories of: Outstanding General Contractor (GC), Outstanding Project Manager, Outstanding General Superintendent, Outstanding Project, Outstanding GC Council Rep, Outstanding Subcontractor Member, Outstanding Vendor Member and Outstanding Professional Member.

Kulik joined Graycor in 1998 as an estimator and has held a variety of increasingly responsible positions within the company throughout his career. With more than 20 years of construction industry experience, Kulik has been instrumental in successfully bidding a number of multimillion-dollar projects.
