HOMEWOOD, IL (August 2008) — Graycor Construction Company Inc. (Graycor Construction), a subsidiary of the Graycor family of companies, announces the appointments of construction industry veterans Jeff Caldwell as senior vice president and business unit manager and Brian Woods as manager of business development, both based in the company’s newly established Charlotte, N.C., office.

Effective immediately, Jeff Caldwell will oversee operations for the Company’s work in the logistics/distribution, corporate office and manufacturing markets across the U.S. Caldwell’s experience includes his most recent position as assistant general manager for Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing all of Toyota’s major North American capital construction projects. Caldwell received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Brian Woods also recently joined Graycor Construction and will be developing new business in the logistics/distribution, corporate office and manufacturing markets across the U.S. coast to coast. Prior to joining Graycor Construction, Woods was employed by Raleigh, N.C. engineering services firm Giffels Inc., where he managed business development for several Fortune 500 clients. Woods received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University. He will be based out of Graycor Construction’s Charlotte office.
