Campus renovation

Graycor Construction performed a number of projects at the St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL. In the west wing, a 36,000–square–foot vertical addition was completed as part of an overall expansion project for which our team provided construction management services. The addition was constructed on top of three existing and fully operational stories of the building. The build–out project followed core–and–shell work previously completed on the center′s west wing. As part of St. Alexius′ overall expansion project, Graycor also completed construction of an 11,200–square–foot build–out of the west wing′s sixth floor. A new 23,400–square–foot emergency room addition, which was constructed in two phases, was also completed. Graycor also performed a multimillion–dollar site work project. Recently completed projects for the expansion include renovating an LDR office and constructing a new special procedures/catheterization laboratory.
