Project Scope

Graycor completed a second generation tenant improvement project for Endurance / IPower, a leading provider of hosting, domains and online solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. Located in Papago Buttes Business Park in Tempe, Arizona, the 77,000 square foot project encompassed the entire second level of the building. Careful phasing and planning minimized disruption to the businesses above and below construction and allowed the owner to start working in the new space before the entire project was completed.

Work included partial demolition to create new offices, break rooms, computer rooms. The space was refreshed with new paint throughout, flooring at designated areas, stained concrete at the lobby and break rooms, extensive interior glass and new millwork. Owner furnished items such as lighting, seating, plumbing, cabinetry and flooring were received and installed. Because Endurance/IPower is a high tech company, the robust telecommunication systems required significant coordination with the owner’s tele/data subcontractor. Telecommunication played a key role in the management of this project, also. The owner is based in Boston, Mass. And the designer is in Nashville, Tenn. Some materials were initially to be provided by the owner but were not. Nitti Graycor, however, was able to secure and install like items and work with minimal drawings, resolving items in the field, thereby keeping the owner’s costs down.

The facility supports Endurance/IPower’s growth, and will provide 300 new Sales, Tech Support and Customer Service jobs in the Tempe area.
