Project Scope

The first of the new preconstruction and interior buildout program is the recently completed 50,000-square-foot buildout on the third and fourth levels of a new high rise in the Seaport district in downtown Boston.

The theatre boasts ten auditoriums and seats 855 guests. Auditoriums range from the 131-seat ICON-X premium large format room to a 63-seat auditorium that provides moviegoers the feeling of being in their own private screening room.

The location also features floor-to-ceiling windows with jaw-dropping views of Fort Point Channel and Seaport Boulevard. Interiors feature clean lines and curved forms; leather and patent leather tufted seating, and lace accents on the walls. A beaded rotunda makes for a striking aerial focal point.

From technology to amenities, the new theatre transforms moviegoing in Boston with a luxury, state-of-the-art experience. The theatre is located within One Seaport, the largest mixed-used development in the city in 30 years. The Boston location joins ShowPlace ICON at Roosevelt Collection in Chicago (also built by Graycor) and ShowPlace ICON at the West End in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
