Project Scope

Graycor was the general contractor for the construction of a ground-up, 475,000-square-foot, cross-dock, 36’ minimum clear height, concrete, tilt panel distribution warehouse with panelized roof structure, steel girders and joists. The building infrastructure includes fire line, domestic water line, sewer line and storm management systems. Other key aspects of the project include a 1,893-square-foot spec office suite, ESFR sprinkler system, 142 trailer spots and 185’ concrete truck courts. Surrounding site and access were previously developed. Improvements to the 27.7-acre site consist of site concrete, landscaping, asphalt paving in parking areas and concrete paving in truck courts.

Subsequent to shell construction, Graycor completed tenant improvements for Amazon’s new prototype building to handle reverse logistics. The project was delivered under a fast-track 3-month schedule.

Building 3 incorporates sustainable elements such as low VOC paint, high-efficiency mechanical units and LED lighting throughout the facility to achieve LEED certification.
