Wrigley headquarters

The first phase of the multi–phase endeavor included renovation of the north and south Rush Street entrances and lobbies, a new entrance at the north lobby, restoration of a portion of the limestone facade, signage and new exterior sidewalks and planters. At the north lobby, the construction team added a new entrance with bronze doors and storefronts, a canopy and security station. Renovations to the south entrance and elevator lobbies included new lighting and marble flooring. The second phase of the project included Michigan Avenue facade restorations and complete reconstruction of the building′s signature exterior floodlighting system. Graycor Construction′s team performed a great deal of research and planning to maintain the historical significance of the building by exactly matching the new ornamental castings on the bronze windows to the existing castings on the 70– year–old windows. The team used many rare materials from three continents consistent with the building′s 1920s design by the renowned firm Graham, Anderson, Probst & White.
