With the continued growth in manufacturing in North America, Graycor’s team has been active with some of the world’s leading manufacturers on new greenfield projects and expansions. Graycor was recently awarded several manufacturing projects in the region:

Siemens Mobility selected Graycor as the general contractor for their $220M advanced manufacturing and rail services facility in Lexington, NC. With the increased production capacity, Siemens Mobility will fulfill the growing demand for passenger rail in America by producing some of the most innovative and sustainable passenger trains in the North American market.

BMW recently selected Graycor to construct its Stacker project. The Stacker project is part of BMW’s $1B investment to prepare for production of electric vehicles at the company’s existing manufacturing facility in Greer, SC. Graycor’s history at the site dates back two decades.

Long-term client Bosch selected Graycor as the general contractor for a $130M expansion for its power tools accessory manufacturing site in Lincolnton, NC. The expansion will support the manufacturing of power tool accessories, in a new 325,000 SF building for manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse operations.

Graycor is providing general contracting services for part of Nucor’s new rebar mill in Lexington, NC. The new rebar mill will be the company’s third location. Graycor’s history in the metals industry dates to the 1930s.
