Project Scope

Graycor provided construction services on the 45,000-square-foot redevelopment and extension of a two-level concourse in front of the new Dick’s Sporting Goods at the Carolina Place Mall in Pineville, NC. Work included a complete interior demolition of existing space, structural demolition and new structural work to accommodate both concourse extensions.

New interior finishes comprised of new second-level railings, tile floors and a pyramid-shaped skylight descending over both concourses. Construction of new demising walls and installation of MEP equipment was required per code for future tenant and storage spaces. Overhead loading dock doors at the new service dock area and landscaping at all Dick’s entrances were installed, including a large-scale retaining wall beside the lower entrance.
