Project Scope

When AMC decided to convert their theatres in Esplanade, Marina del Rey, Calif. and Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio to their innovative Fork & Screen format, they called on Graycor Construction Company to complete the transformations.

Designed as a one-stop shop for dinner, drinks and a movie, the Fork & Screen redevelopment offers movie goers a full service bar and lounge, large electric recliners, in-theatre dining, and state of the art movie projection.

Graycor’s work included:

New entrances
Demolition of the existing concession areas
Reconfiguration of stadium seating platform to accept enhanced cinema seats
Construction of a full kitchen and bar
Renovation of the common areas requiring the removal of the old finishes and the installation of all new upscale finishes
Management and installation of FFE work, including screens, seats, aisle lighting, carpet, restaurant kitchen & bar equipment.
