Project Scope

Graycor began the Phillips 66 (P66) Dock Lines Replacement and Relocation project at P66’s Wood River Refinery to improve the mechanical integrity of the off-property underground pipelines. The Graycor team replaced approximately 2,200 LF of the underground portions of eight existing hydrocarbon dock lines and brought those sections above ground in a series of pipe rack structures. The above ground pipe structure was a combination of bridge spans (six total), at-grade modules and single at-grade supports.

At completion, more than 1,211 tons of bridge steel and 284 tons of structural steel were set. Setting of Unit 2 was more than 650K lbs. and was completed over a three-day weekend requiring coordination with IDOT, Levee District, Village and P66.
