Project Scope

Graycor completed an inlet pipe rack project at MarkWest Energy Partners’ Sherwood Processing Facility. The pipe rack was built at the site of Sherwood VIII, a 200-MMscf/d cryogenic gas processing plant simultaneously constructed by Graycor.

Scope of work: Graycor’s team supplied and installed an interconnecting pipe rack and associated piping, tying together MarkWest’s pipeline and existing cryogenic units at the site.

Self-performed work included foundations, structural steel and pipe erection, welding and scaffolding.
Subcontracted work included electrical, insulation, painting and NDE.

  • Field Welds: 320
  • Structural Steel: 1,310 tons
