Project Scope

The William Wrigley Jr. Company awarded Graycor a contract to construct a new 7,866-square-foot food process tower. The new 8-story tall structure is part of a production line expansion at the plant that manufactures a new confectionery product.

The project scope also included major plant renovations to over 30,000 square-feet of existing space and creation of a new packaging area and loading dock. Major mechanical and electrical integration of the production line and process equipment was also included. This work was completed to Wrigley’s high standards that include safety, quality and food safety controls. All construction workers were required to pass a 50-question procedures test prior to reporting for duty.
