Graycor completed construction of this 250-megawatt peaker plant in Kennerdell, Pennsylvania, for Handsome Lake Energy, LLC, a subsidiary of Constellation Power Source. The project plans called for the installation of five Pratt & Whitney Twin Pac combustion turbine generators at the plant, which operates during peak energy demands.

Major equipment by owner included 5 Pratt & Whitney Twin Pack turbines, generators and all engineering services.

Major equipment by Graycor included a control building, switchyard, 100,000-gallon Demin Tank and a 100,000-gallon raw water tank. Graycor furnished all construction services including final site work (final grading, seeding and asphalt paving).

Major startup and commissioning by Graycor included mechanical piping and electrical. Startup and commissioning by owner was supported by Graycor labor.
