Project Scope

The Divert Energy Integrated Diversion and Energy Facility in Lexington, NC, is a 75,000-square-foot greenfield project spanning over 200 acres, setting new standards in sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy innovation. Designed to transform food waste into renewable natural gas (RNG) through advanced integrated recovery processes, the facility features robust civil, mechanical, and electrical infrastructure, including reinforced structural concrete, insulated walls, overhead crane systems, high clear height industrial buildings, and reinforced slabs. Construction includes multiple buildings with stormwater management, fire suppression, dock equipment, and direct rail line integration to optimize logistics.

Scope includes heavy equipment setting, precision rigging, extensive process and utility piping, and comprehensive Balance of Plant (BOP) electrical systems, along with insulation and protective coatings for long-term performance. Upon completion, the facility will stand as a benchmark for integrated diversion and energy projects, combining sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence.
