Looking to add on to their Lexington campus, Nucor selected Graycor to assist with the design-build of a 17,500-square-foot administration building complete with kitchenette, private offices, bathrooms, lockers rooms with showers, conference and training rooms with partition walls, a 400-square-foot guard shack and a 400-square-foot scale house. Scope included foundations and steel erection of all pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB). Interior build-out included plumbing, HVAC, insulation, architectural finishes, fire protection, cabinets, appliances, electrical, flooring and carpentry for custom cabinetry. Exterior site upgrades included walkways, parking, exterior lighting and roadways.
